PokerPro® and Carnival Send Monty Berger to the 2007 World Series of Poker |

Amateur player, Monty Berger, won a $10,000 WSOP seat in a $150 Buy-In Satellite Tournament played on a PokerPro® Table aboard the Carnival Legend in April 2007.
On Sunday, July 8th, Monty was seated at Noon to start playing in the WSOP Main Event. He was excited and said he’d been planning his strategies for some time. As Day One completed, he was down to 16,900 in chips (from his original 20,000), but still enough to get him to the second round!
Monty’s Round Two was Wednesday, and by mid-afternoon he was able to build his chip stack to 31,000. Eventually Monty made his big move...he went all-in with two pair off the flop ... and had one guy call. Unfortunately that guy caught running hearts to make his flush. It was a bad beat and he just got unlucky, but both PokerPro® and Carnival are proud of Monty’s performance in the 2007 WSOP!
Look for Monty to take on contenders as his tries to win another seat, this time
